Following a brief welcome speech by the Prelate, Mr. Beglaryan said the purpose of his visit was to build closer ties with the Diaspora and seek to engage it more in the development and empowerment of Artsakh. In his talk, Mr. Beglaryan discussed the five key pillars for the republic’s long-term future: security; sustainable economic development; demographic growth; education, and good governance.

Mr. Beglaryan then took questions from the public about ways to secure more investments from the Diaspora in Artsakh as well as the prospects for more input from Armenians overseas in the development of the republic.
