The Eastern Prelacy invites you to a series of lectures via Zoom on the theology and liturgy of Holy Week. Commencing 18 January, on Tuesday evenings from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm EST, and again on Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST, there will be 12 presentations leading up to Holy Week (Easter Sunday is 17 April 2022). The same lecture will be presented on both evenings in order to accommodate everyone’s schedule and time zone.
Each day of Holy Week will be analyzed in detail, and the solemn and beautiful liturgies of the Armenian Church will be examined from a theological perspective. Deacons, Altar Servers, and Choir members are especially welcome to attend, and all those who are keenly interested in learning about the rich biblical and historic traditions of the Armenian Church during this most sacred time of the year.
The classes will be presented by Rev. Dr. George A. Leylegian in Armenian and in English. Please contact Archdeacon George at your earliest convenience to indicate your participation and to obtain the Zoom link information. Course-pack materials will be sent out via email in advance of the weekly sessions. Here is the email contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
