U.S. PRELATES TO ATTEND PONTIFF’S ENTHRONEMENT IN ROME

His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate of the Eastern Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and His Eminence Archbishop Kegham, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, will travel to Rome to represent the Holy See of Cilicia at the enthronement of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the newly elected Pontiff of the Catholic Church, on Sunday, May 18.  

His Holiness Catholicos Aram I has appointed both Prelates to represent the Catholicosate at this historic occasion.  

The Eastern and Western Prelates’ participation in the enthronement ceremony highlights the commitment of the Holy See of Cilicia to ecumenical cooperation and the strengthening of inter-church relations.
