Dear Sponsor,
This is Astghik. My father Vahram was killed in the 44-Day War. I am 8 years old and soon will be 9.
I am in 3rd grade in school. I live with my two brothers, my mother, and grandmother. I love very much Aparan city, my birthplace.
I draw pictures to express my feelings of missing my father in my drawings. I understand that my father sacrificed his life so that me and other children like me live in their own country. I must do even better in school, so that my mother is proud of me. My mother always tells me that I am a hero too for being able to bear my longing for my dad…
Thank you very much for always being at our side.
