HIS HOLINESS CATHOLICOS KAREKIN II RECEIVES CATHOLICOS ARAM I’S EMISSARIES AMID CRISIS

On Saturday, June 28, on behalf of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, His Eminence Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian, Director of the Catholicosate’s Cilicia Library, and His Grace Bishop Dajad Ashekian, Chancellor, met with His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. 

During the meeting, Catholicos Karekin II expressed his views and responded to Catholicos Aram I’s concerns conveyed by Archbishop Shahan and Bishop Dajad, as well as to his suggestions for overcoming the present situation.    

On behalf of Catholicos Aram I, his delegates stressed the need for maintaining the Armenian Church firmly united for the sake of fulfilling its spiritual mission and national service.
