ARCHBISHOP ANOUSHAVAN AND BISHOP MESROP JOIN GENOCIDE COMMEMORATION AT THE UN

On Tuesday, December 9, by invitation of Ambassador Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia at the United Nations, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate of the Eastern Prelacy, and His Grace Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese, attended a session of the United Nations marking the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide.

Among the speakers at the session was Robert Abisoghomonyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The Prelate and the Primate thanked Ambassador Hovhannisyan for his invitation.
