PRELATE CONSECRATES RESTORED ALTAR AT HOLY TRINITY

On Friday evening, December 5, Holy Trinity Church in Worcester, Massachusetts, joyfully welcomed His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, for the long-awaited consecration of the church altar. The presence of His Eminence brought spiritual warmth to the parish as the faithful gathered to witness this significant moment in the life of our community.

Following the consecration rite, His Eminence offered his blessings to the congregation and delivered heartfelt words of encouragement. He urged all parishioners to maintain their zeal and dedication toward the Church, to continue nurturing their faith, and to strengthen their support for their parish and pastor. His message served as a meaningful reminder of the shared responsibility we carry in sustaining and advancing the mission of the Church.

Throughout the service, the congregation participated prayerfully and reverently, joining their voices and spirits in gratitude and unity. This altar restoration was long overdue; since the parish’s move to Grove Street, the altar had never been refurbished and had naturally accumulated the wear of time. Its renewal became both a practical necessity and a spiritual opportunity for the community.

Hovig and Sossie Donabedian’s generosity made it possible to fully restore the altar with care and devotion, renewing its beauty and sanctity for generations to come.

Following the service, the congregation gathered with His Eminence and the benefactor family for a warm, family-like fellowship. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, joy, and a sense of communal renewal.
