Though no longer in person, youth throughout our parishes continue to meet regularly in their Salt & Light youth ministry groups. Our program materials have been modified to better suit the virtual formats of our groups and our facilitators remain dedicated to ensuring our young adults have regular opportunities to discuss their faith in the context of the challenging daily circumstances they encounter. Both youth and facilitators are looking forward to participating in our first annual Lenten Retreat that will take place Saturday, March 13, 2021, where participants will explore practical insights on the disciplines of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. This event will provide an opportunity for youth from all our parishes to gather for the first time, albeit virtually, to meet other teens who are looking to deepen their faith and connection with the Armenian Church. Young adults who may not currently be involved in a local Salt & Light group are encouraged to attend to learn more about Salt & Light.
