I am only one, but I am one. I can’t do everything, but I can do something.
The something I ought to do, I can do. And, by the grace of God, I will.

On the ground in Armenia, the Eastern Prelacy sees small moments and individual stories as more than just numbers and words but knows that for each person they represent an entire world. Supporting the hope of this world are the individual sponsors who through their donation change the lives of Armenia and Artsakh’s children in a dramatic and positive way.

The Orphan Sponsorship Program was set up in 1993 to meet the needs of families and children in Armenia and Artsakh who have lost one or both parents. The Orphan Sponsorship Program has since sponsored more than 2500 children across Armenia’s urban and rural areas. This was accomplished through the generous support of donors from across the USA.

An annual contribution of $250 USD per child is collected and fully transferred to Armenia through the St. Nerses the Great Charitable Fund (the charitable agency of the Prelacy).

UPDATE: The Eastern Prelacy has received the first list of children whose fathers were martyred during the last war of Artsakh. There are 75 children on this list. We express our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors who were lined up to assist these children: 28 of them have already found their benefactors. We need to find sponsors for the remaining 47 so that their families start receiving assistance right away. Make the most meaningful gift to your loved ones – a gift of sponsorship for an orphan of war.
