Over the past few weeks, the Sunday school of St. Gregory the Illuminator of Granite City, IL has put a strong emphasis on how the youth can further serve the Church. On Sunday, June 13, after Badarak, Rev. Fr. Taniel Manjikian was greeted by students who brought their hand-made poorvars (censors). Fr. Taniel explained, in detail, the meaning of the incense and poorvar, while demonstrating its use during the Divine Liturgy. He also showcased some of the other physical items found in the Sanctuary and used in the Divine Liturgy of the Armenian Church.
