Letters from Armenia

SEPTEMBER 9 – LETTER FROM ARMENIA | GAGIK

The Prelacy’s Orphan Sponsorship program was established in 1993 and continues to be the central mission of the Prelacy’s projects in Armenia and Artsakh. As part of the program, letters are received regularly from children addressed to their actual or potential sponsors. We are pleased to share some of these letters through Crossroads.

This week’s letter is from Gagik* who is sponsored by Dr. Raffi Saatciyan.

* In order to protect the privacy of the children we use only their first names.

Dear Sponsor,

I am 7-year-old Gagik. I am in the first grade of Ditak village’s public school, in the Ararat region of Armenia. I like to draw pictures and to travel. I am interested in music and I follow sports competitions, especially the World Championship of soccer. I have my favorites among the famous soccer player and I am very proud of our Armenian Henrik Mkhitaryan. I want to be as famous and loved as he is.

I am a very good student in school. I love my friends and classmates. Unfortunately, because of the coronavirus we don’t have many games and events.

I dream of the world living in peace and free of coronavirus.

With love always,

Gagik
