A FEAST DAY ACROSS PRELACY CHURCHES

Churches under the jurisdiction of the Prelacy across the Eastern United States marked the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross last Sunday. On this occasion, the cross is bedecked with basil and upon the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy the faithful take blessed basil sprigs home. The traditional Antasdan ceremony (blessing of the four corners of the world) was celebrated following the service.
