On Monday, Sept. 19, Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, received the visit of Jirayr Beugekian, chairman of the ARF city committee of Yerevan and coordinator of the ARF Supreme Council of Armenia’s Repatriates’ Assistance Office. Mr. Beugekian was accompanied by Valot Atakhanian, of the ARF Central Committee of the Eastern United States, and Pauline Dostoumian, of the Artsakh Fund.
During the meeting, Mr. Beugekian discussed the current situation in Armenia as well as the status of repatriates, stressing the role of the Diaspora at this critical juncture for the homeland. Ms. Dostoumian, for her part, outlined the projects carried out by the Artsakh Fund in the border areas of the Republic of Artsakh.
