In an interview with the editor of Arevelk website, Sako Arian, on Friday, Sept. 30, Archbishop Anoushavan discussed the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Armenian Church and, in particular, the Eastern Prelacy. “This global catastrophe in the 21st century was an unprecedented event that tested the limits of faith and will, not only to overcome this global threat, but also to rearrange our priorities, to mobilize our inner strengths and capacity, update our work modalities and maximize the use of technology in the service of our mission and prove our mettle, to make the 22nd century Church, in the words of immortal poet Vahan Tekeyan, “the Armenian Church, before the stormy sea, is a harbor of peace.”
