The Prelacy’s Orphan Sponsorship program, established in 1993, remains the centerpiece of the Prelacy’s mission in Armenia and Artsakh. We are pleased to share some of the letters that children regularly address to their sponsors.
This week’s letter is from Marine,* who is sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Vahe Dombalagian.

Dear Sponsor,
Thank you for always being at our side.
I am in 3rd grade in school. I want to be a good student so that my mom is proud of me. I love it when she always smiles when I succeed.
I also take dance classes, and I want to become a dance teacher. In my spare time, I play chess. My mom promised me that when I do very well in school, she will present me with a phone.
Dear Sponsor, my mom told me about your kind work. I wish you good health and that you are always at our side.
