On Sunday, November 6, All Saints Church of Glenview celebrated its 79th anniversary, with Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, celebrating Divine Liturgy and delivering the sermon, followed by the Blessing of Water.
The community gathered for the celebration at the parish hall. After the grace was said, Board of Trustees Chairman Rafi Krikorian welcomed the public and reviewed the activities carried by the parish during the year. Fr. Boghos then addressed the gathering, thanking the community for its welcome and cooperation in the six months since he had been appointed Pastor. All sister organizations received certificates of appreciation for their input for the betterment of the community.
Archbishop Anoushavan also delivered remarks, praising Fr. Boghos for earning the appreciation of the community with his work and managing to revitalize the community. He also expressed his wish that the community will put even more passion into organizing the 80th anniversary next year on occasion of the visit by His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.
Following a blessing, the event came to a close with a lively interpretation of “Giligia” by the enthusiastic attendees.
