The Prelacy’s Orphan Sponsorship program, established in 1993, remains the centerpiece of the Prelacy’s mission in Armenia and Artsakh. We are pleased to share some of the letters that children regularly address to their sponsors.
This week’s letter is from Mher,* who is sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Kevork Altounian.
* We use only the first names of the children to protect their privacy.
Dear Sponsor,
This is Mher ___. I am in 5th grade in school. I participate in the after-school pottery classes and I like pottery very much, but when I grow up, I want to become a robotics engineer. I would like to build robots that will help our Armenian Army and our brave soldiers. And also, so that kids don’t lose their dads like me.
Dear Sponsor, my mom and I are very grateful for your kind work and for helping us.
