My name is Maro and I am Arina’s mother. I am writing to you because she is still little.
My husband David was first lieutenant in the Armenian army; he was doing reconnaissance. He
was killed on October 20, 2020, in Hadrout.
Arina is already 2 years old. She started talking and her first word was “papa.” She has only met her father in photographs. When we visit Yerablur, she recognizes his photo and calls “papa.”
I am doing my best to raise Arina a worthy daughter of her father and she will be proud to have
a heroic father who sacrificed his life for us and for his country.
