The Prelacy’s Orphan Sponsorship program, established in 1993, remains the centerpiece of the Prelacy’s mission in Armenia and Artsakh. We are pleased to share some of the letters that children regularly address to their sponsors.

Dear Sponsor,
This is 8-year-old Gagik. I live in Ararat region’s Ditak village, and I go to the local school’s 2nd grade. I am on the honor roll in school. I like sports, especially boxing and chess. I participate in our village’s dance group, and I sing patriotic songs.
I have many friends with whom I like to play and spend time together. I help my grandfather in house chores. I want to grow up fast, so that I can help our family in the farm. My dream is to see a world in peace, so that the life becomes interesting and joyful again.
