The Prelacy’s Orphan Sponsorship program, established in 1993, remains the centerpiece of the Prelacy’s mission in Armenia and Artsakh. We are pleased to share some of the letters that children regularly address to their sponsors.

Dear Sponsor,
This is Gevorg. I live in the Marmarashen village of Ararat region and go to the third grade of our village’s public school. I am doing well in school. My teachers do not complain about me.
I play soccer. When the days grow warmer, my mother and I will tend to our little garden. I help my mom with her every task. My mom always says: “Gevorg is my right hand.”
Dear Sponsor, I love you very much for making my mom’s burdens a little easier. I want to grow up fast so that my mom doesn’t have to work so much, so that she always stays young and always smiles at me.
