The Prelacy’s Orphan Sponsorship program, established in 1993, remains the centerpiece of the Prelacy’s mission in Armenia and Artsakh. We are pleased to share some of the letters that children regularly address to their sponsors.

Dear Sponsor,
This is Anahit from Vanadzor city. In two days I will be twenty-two years old. I am a student in
Yerevan, in Medical University, where I am in my 5th year. I already passed most of my journey towards my profession and now, along with my studies in the university, I do some shifts in hospitals helping doctors.
It is September again and it is again an uncertain situation along the borders of my country. And I know one thing: if every person is on their right place and knows what they are doing, and if everyone is good and honest in doing their job, no country will dare to threaten our country’s peace.
Dear Sponsor, I am very grateful to you for your support and for your kindness. Your help is crucial to me not only for my studies, but also in becoming a better person.
I strongly believe in boomerang effect and that your kindnesses will come back to you in thousand-fold.
