PALM SUNDAY INVITES US TO REFLECT ON PEACE
On March 24, Palm Sunday, Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon at St. Stephen’s Church in Watertown, Massachusetts. In his homily, His Eminence said that the feast marks the entry of the Prince of Peace in Jerusalem, which literally means “City of Peace.” Today more than ever, mankind needs peace, at a time when turmoil in the world may affect our individual, family, and collective life, he said, expressing his wish for peace for all and especially our homeland and Artsakh Armenians.
Following the Divine Liturgy, he conferred the right to bear the stole to acolyte Hagop Ketchedjian.
