On Tuesday, April 23, the Rhode Island House and Senate legislatures passed the annual Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day resolutions. Rev. Father Kapriel Nazarian, Pastor of Sts. Vartanantz Church of Providence, offered the opening prayer in the House chambers asking for our Lord’s blessings and wisdom to be bestowed on its members and staff. During the prayer, he spoke about the Armenian Genocide in 1915 and following years, and its recent continuation in Artsakh, as well as the current threat to the sovereignty of Armenia.
