On Sunday, May 19, the parishioners of Sts. Vartanantz Church of Providence (Rhode Island) gathered in the sanctuary for the graduation ceremony of Sunday School. They are Ani Derderian, Ani Manzo, Bedros Zaytounian, and Gygy Muililkwa. The four young adults were recognized for their dedication in attending Sunday School.
Rev. Fr. Kapriel Nazarian, Pastor, addressed the graduates, reminding them that they are entering a new chapter at Sts. Vartanantz. Fr. Kapriel encouraged the graduates to continue their participation at Church in other ways. The eighth grade Sunday School teachers, Jason Simonian and Stacey Khatchadourian, urged the students to maintain their spirituality and follow their “moral compass.”
In closing, the graduates were asked to be mindful of the lessons they have learned at Church: “Continue to be attentive, find a quiet spot so you can speak to God, and He will show you the way.”
