THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION HONORS ARCHBISHOP ANOUSHAVAN

On Sunday, November 24, the Eastern Prelacy celebrated the 40th anniversary of His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan’s service in America during its traditional Thanksgiving event. 

The day began with a Divine Liturgy celebrated by the Prelate at St. Sarkis Church in Douglaston, New York, followed by a banquet at Terrace on the Park in Corona, New York. The banquet brought together a cross-section of clergy, community leaders, and parishioners from Chicago to New England to Washington, D.C., who expressed their gratitude and honored the legacy of devotion and dedicated service of Archbishop Anoushavan. 

The program included the reading of a message from His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, remarks about the Prelate, appreciation for the Pillars of the Prelacy, a well-crafted artistic program, an inspirational video, and a stirring message of gratitude from His Eminence.
