PRELATE’S APPEAL FOR ASSISTANCE TO ALEPPO ARMENIANS

Dear fellow Armenians,

The new Syrian government that emerged from the coup d’état has provided certain reassurance to Christians in meetings with community leaders in Aleppo and Damascus. We hope that a relationship built on trust will become the norm in the country.

We are pleased to report that His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, has successfully transferred the assistance of the three Prelacies of North America to the Armenian community authorities in Aleppo, who have managed the distribution. Notwithstanding this, the economic crisis remains severe. Therefore, we ask you to continue supporting our brothers and sisters to ease their daily struggles.
