REV. FR. MIKAEL DER KOSROFIAN PRESENTS THIRD LENTEN LECTURE

The third session of the six-part Lenten Program took place last night, March 19, at St. Illuminator’s Cathedral in New York City.  

Following the Husgoom Service, Rev. Fr. Mikael Der Kosrofian, pastor of Soorp Asdvadzadzin Armenian Apostolic Church in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, delivered a lecture titled “The Historical Context to the Nicene Creed.” He highlighted the theological controversies of the early church that led to the formulation and ratification of the Creed of Nicaea in 325 AD. Next Wednesday, March 26, the topic will be “The Nicene Creed: A Syllabus for Instruction in the Basics of the Christian Faith,” presented by Dn. Shant Kazanjian, Director of Christian Education of the Eastern Prelacy.
