ARMENIAN CHRISTMAS AND BLESSING OF WATER IN WAUKEGAN

St. Paul Armenian Church in Waukegan celebrated the Feast of the Nativity and the Blessing of Water on Sunday, January 4.  Pictured with Archpriest Fr. Daron Stepanian are Deacons Asadour Soulakian and Dr. Arsen Mekaelian.  The Godfather of the Cross was Acolyte Bretton Zaven Bowles. Following the Divine Liturgy and the Blessing of Water service, parishioners gathered in the church hall for a Christmas luncheon hosted by the Ladies Guild and a celebration of Fr. Daron’s 70th birthday.
