PRELATE VISITS ST. ILLUMINATOR’S SUNDAY AND ARMENIAN SCHOOLS

On Sunday, January 4, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, visited with the pupils of St. Illuminator’s Sunday and Armenian Language Schools.   

Sunday School Director Louise Kanian presented Archbishop Anoushavan with a donation of $750 to the Prelacy in the name of the pupils, in response to the Prelate’s Christmas fundraising appeal for the support of Sunday school pupils in Lebanon. 

The pupils also received their handsome new sweatshirts bearing the coat of arms of the Cathedral in front and the letters Ayp, Pen, Kim of the Armenian alphabet on the back. Our special thanks to Ms. Kanian, Maria Ebrimian, Director of St. Illuminator’s Armenian School, and teacher Rita Tomassian for their devoted service.
