SPIRITUAL RENEWAL THEME MARKS OPENING OF PRELACY LENTEN PROGRAM

On Wednesday, February 18, the Armenian Prelacy began its Lenten Program, co-sponsored by St. Illuminator’s Cathedral in New York City. The program included an abridged Husgoom service, a lecture, and table fellowship, and was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate.

The inaugural lecture by Rev. Fr. Samuel Ajemian, Pastor of All Saints Church (Glenview, Illinois), highlighted themes from His Holiness Catholicos Aram I’s 2026 proclamation, “The Year of Spiritual Renewal.” Please click here to watch the presentation.

On Wednesday, February 25, Archpriest Fr. Antranig Baljian, Pastor Emeritus of St. Stephen’s Church (Watertown, Massachusetts), will offer a reflection on the recommendations of His Holiness’s proclamation.
