BIBLE STUDY ON ST. PAUL’S LETTER TO THE PHILIPPIANS COMPLETED
Last night, Wednesday, December 16, the Eastern Prelacy concluded an 8-part Bible study program on St. Paul’s Letter to the Philippians with two additional general Q & A sessions via Zoom, conducted by Archdeacon Shant Kazanjian, Director of Christian Education (Eastern Prelacy). The program was held on Wednesdays from 8:00–9:00 pm since October 14. About 45-50 people participated.
“Only, live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27) is the Apostle Paul’s central claim in this letter. The Apostle then goes on and explains what it means to live in such a manner to the believers in Philippi—and by extension to all Christians for all times.
After the holidays, the next Prelacy Bible study program will focus on the prayer book of the Bible: The Book of Psalms (Saghmosakeerk or Keerk Saghmosats). It behooves all those interested in prayer and praying scripturally to have the Book of Psalms in their prayer toolbox. Stay tuned.
