BENEFACTOR ARTHUR BEDROSSIAN EQUIPS COMPUTER ROOM AT TIGRAN METS MILITARY COLLEGE OF ARMENIA
Eastern Prelacy benefactor Arthur P. Bedrosian has fully equipped the new computer classroom of Tigran Mets Sports and Military College of Armenia, including 12 new computers and their accessories. With this donation, Mr. Bedrosian has fulfilled the second part of his donation to this institution.
Upon the wish of the benefactor, the computer room has been named after Archdeacon Shant Kazanjian. Archdeacon Shant serves as Executive Director of the Armenian Religious Educational Council (AREC).
Earlier this year, Mr. Bedrosian had financed the replacement of the school’s roof, which covers an area of 13,000 square feet. It was the first time the school, where 150 students receive first-class military and sports education, undergoes major renovation work since it was built in 1961.
The Tigran Mets Sports and Military College is in Armavir, 30 miles to the west of Yerevan, and most of its students continue their studies at Vazgen Sargsyan Military University upon graduation, where they train to join the cadre of officers of our homeland.
