WE REMEMBER AND HONOR
Saturday marks the twentieth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C, and Pennsylvania. As we look back at this tragic day and the shock that still reverberates to date, we must stand united in remembering and honoring the fallen, including our own parishioners. Twenty years later, dark clouds are gathering again in the horizon, as anybody who has been following the news lately knows. We must therefore remain vigilant yet, with unfaltering hope and renewed faith, committed to protecting the rights enshrined in the Declaration of Independence of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” To these values America owes its greatness.
