RHODE ISLAND OBSERVES GENOCIDE MEMORIAL DAY
The Sts. Vartanantz Parish and other members of the Armenian community of Providence, RI, observed the Genocide Memorial Day last Sunday, April 24, with commemoration events that included the Armenian National Committee-RI Flag raising ceremonies in North Providence Town Hall and Cranston City Hall and an event organized by the Armenian Martyrs’ Memorial Committee, with Stepan Piligian as keynote speaker.
