HIS HOLINESS RECEIVES VATICAN OBSERVER TO UN AT PRELACY OFFICES
On Tuesday, November 21, Monsignor Gabriele Caccia, Permanent Observer of the Vatican at the United Nations, met with His Holiness Catholicos Aram I at the Eastern Prelacy headquarters in New York.
The meeting lasted close to two hours in a cordial atmosphere, given the longtime relationship of both clergymen. The question of Artsakh was extensively discussed, along with the presidential elections in Lebanon and the close relations between the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia and the Vatican.
The meeting was an opportunity for His Holiness to share his viewpoints and the activities of the Catholicosate, as well as to learn about the positions of the Vatican about the abovementioned issues.
