Dear Sponsor,
This is Naré. I live and go to school in Yerevan. I am in 7th grade, and I am an excellent student, although I have some difficulties in math and Russian language classes. I like to draw, and I have been in the afterschool program’s art classes for the last 4 years. I participated in several art competitions.
I have also been going to kanoon classes for 3 years. I currently play on a student kanoon which was given to me by my mom’s friend. My kanoon is 30 years old, and its sound is not loud enough. With the money you send to us, we have already ordered a new kanoon which is of almost professional quality. But it will be ready only next year.
I love to play music, especially works of Aram Khachaturian and Komitas.
I want to become an artist and photographer, because my father was a professional photographer.
I love my country very much; we often go on field trips. We have a garden and in the summer months, we often get together there with our relatives. During those gatherings, the happiest participant is our dog Buffy, who has been a member of our family for 3 years now.
I wish for peace in my country, so that I can travel and create art freely.
