VERY REV. FR. SAHAG YEMISHIAN ELECTED PRELATE OF GREECE

His Holiness Catholicos Aram I had instructed to include Very Rev. Fr. Sahag Yemishian (pastor of Sts. Vartanantz Church of Ridgefield, New Jersey, and Vicar)  in the list of three candidates to the elections for Prelate in Greece, which were held in an extraordinary session of the National Representative Assembly of the Armenian Prelacy of Greece on Monday, July 1. Very Rev. Fr. Sahag was elected Prelate by majority of votes. His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, and the Religious and Lay Councils as well as the greater family of the Eastern Prelacy congratulate him on his election as Prelate and wish him success in his new role.
