PRELATE’S APPEAL FOR ASSISTANCE TO ALEPPO ARMENIANS

Dear fellow Armenians,

We are grateful to Almighty God that the coup d’État in Syria was resolved swiftly. Officials from the new provisional government had a meeting with the heads of Christian denominations and communities in Aleppo and assured the return to normalcy. We hope that trust will continue to grow in the future.

We are pleased to report that His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, has successfully transferred the assistance of the three Prelacies of North America to the Armenian community authorities, who have managed the distribution. Notwithstanding this, the economic crisis remains severe. Therefore, we ask you to continue supporting our brothers and sisters to ease their daily struggles.
