ANEC TRAINING PROGRAM SESSION FOCUSES ON CHILD PSYCHOLOGY

The third session of the bimonthly Teacher Training Program, organized by the Armenian National Education Committee (ANEC), took place on Saturday, February 1. The session was attended by 15 teachers.

The lecturer was Dr. Shaghig Kandaharian-Hudaverdian, an experienced educator, psychologist, and lecturer. The session focused on child psychology and pedagogy, specifically covering the stages of child development.

The lecturer began by expressing deep appreciation for the dedication of Armenian teachers, emphasizing the significant amount of planning and effort required in the profession, especially in the current American educational environment, where teaching the Armenian language presents unique challenges.

She then presented a slideshow detailing the stages of child development from infancy to the age of 19, providing a thorough explanation of each phase. The lecture concluded with a Q&A session.
