Armenian photographers such as the Abdullah brothers, Pascal Sebah and Gabriel Lekegian enjoyed tremendous success first in Constantinople and eventually in Egypt.

Dr. Malikian has amassed a remarkable collection of vintage photographs, and he has discussed his findings in this original book.
