Since war broke out in Artsakh, every Pastor under the jurisdiction of the Prelacy set an hour apart for a daily prayer in their church. Following the intensification of the fighting in October and the blockade of Artsakh, every priest has been taking part in a special hour of prayer at 9:00-10:00 pm EST, which continues to this date.
In response to the wishes expressed by our community, after the feast of the Nativity and Revelation of Our Lord Jesus Christ, this hour of prayer will be livestreamed online on Facebook and the Prelacy website every Tuesday (in Armenian) and Thursday (in English) starting on January 19.
We are confident that the people and the Prelacy will forge closer bonds through their cooperation, developing new plans to get stronger in our pilgrimage of faith from life to Life, reviving the spiritual legacy bequeathed to us by the Illuminator so that the people of God become witnesses to His Light throughout the world.
Those who wish to make special requests to be remembered during the hour of prayer are kindly asked to send an email to aghotk@armenianprelacy.org. They may rest assured that their requests will only be forwarded to the priests and that their identity shall remain undisclosed.
With warm greetings,
ARCHBISHOP ANOUSHAVAN
