On Wednesday, June 23, Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, received the visit of members of the newly elected Eastern Regional of the Hamazkayin Cultural and Educational Society, including Mrs. Arevig Caprielian, chairwoman; Hoori Samuelian, treasurer, and Vartivar Keshishian and Maroush Nigon, advisers. His Eminence congratulated the newly elected committee and wished them success in their labor. The activities of Hamazkayin and prospects for future cooperation with the Prelacy were discussed during the meeting, which was also attended by Rev. Fr. Mesrob Lakissian, Pastor of St. Illuminator’s Cathedral; Dr. Vartan Matiossian, Executive Director of the Prelacy, and Archdeacon Shant Kazanjian, Director of the Christian Education department.
