During his recent visit to Armenia, Very Rev. Fr. Sahag Yemishyan visited the office of the Eastern Prelacy’s St. Nerses The Great charitable organization. He met with the office staff and was introduced to the ongoing programs of the office. Hayr Soorp also met and gave small tokens to ten families of fallen hero soldiers who gave their lives during the latest war against Azerbaijan, thanking them for their wounded but strong hearts. “In the eyes of their children,” Fr. Sahag said, “you cannot miss the image of their hero fathers and mothers.”
Hayr Soorp also visited Artsakh, where he was introduced to the current situation in the region, and also visited the monasteries and monuments that are in the Artsakh territory under Armenian control.
