THE PRELATE IN NIAGARA FALLS

On Sunday, October 31, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan Tanielian, Prelate, celebrated Divine Liturgy at St. Hagop Church, of Niagara Falls, NY. Deacon Albert Amato and acolyte Dr. Aram Parnagian served at the altar. Drawing from the Bible reading of the day, the Prelate delivered a sermon on the Christian understanding of family and praised highly the warm family relationships within the church.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the Prelate presented a certificate of appreciation to the devoted chairperson of the church’s Board of Trustees, Mr. Harry Ishkanian. The ladies’ guild then offered a traditional Armenian luncheon to the public. The Prelate extolled the community’s spirit of unity with which they have overcome the crisis triggered by the pandemic and continue to gather around the church, keeping their faith and identity alive.

The gathering concluded with the benediction by the Prelate.
