By Patriarchal decree dated Oct. 21, 2021, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I has defrocked Very Rev. Fr. Ghevont Pentezian, former Pastor of All Saints’ Church, of Chicago, for breaking his vows.
Fr. Ghevont has been dismissed from the priesthood. He is now a layman with the name of Varoujan Pentezian.
