On Friday, March 25, the Salt & Light Youth Group of St. Sarkis Church (Douglaston, NY) held an in-person session for existing and new members. There were over 50 youth in attendance, both existing members from prior years, as well as some new faces that were welcomed by their peers. Der Nareg addressed the youth in the Main Hall, welcoming them back to their second home, St. Sarkis Church, and talked about Lent Season and the timeline of the Holy Week –Christ’s final week before being crucified and resurrected. The subject resonated with the youth as they listened intently and asked questions afterwards. Members afterwards shared a meal together, wrapping up in a jovial atmosphere Salt & Light’s first spring session.
