CHRISTMAS PAGEANT OF NAREG SCHOOL

The Nareg Armenian School held its Christmas Pageant on Sunday, December 18, at Sts. Vartanantz Church of Ridgefield, New Jersey, under the auspices of Very Rev. Fr. Sahag Yemishian, Pastor. The event was attended by ANEC Chairperson, Mrs, Hera Makholian, as as representatives of Sts. Vartanantz Church Board of Trustees, ARS Agnouni, Armenouhi, and Shakeh chapters, and Homenetmen of NJ.

Parents and relatives packed the large hall and enjoyed an exceptional program by the students, who presented Armenian Christmas songs, recitations, and dances full of national identity and pride in a show of solidarity with our homeland. The audience proudly applauded in a show of support and appreciation. Later, a very impressed Santa brought gifts to all the students.

The Armenian Relief Society Eastern USA Regional Executive presented pouches beautifully imprinted with the Armenian alphabet to all the students, teachers, and Principal Mrs. Marina Yakoubian. The school board recognizes and expresses its heartfelt gratitude especially to our school principal Mrs. Marina Yakoubian and all the teachers for their devotion, unwavering dedication and relentless efforts to educate our youth.
