His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, officiated at the Divine Liturgy and the Opening of the Door service at St. Sarkis Church, of Dearborn, Michigan, on April 2, on occasion Palm Sunday. In his homily, the Prelate highlighted that the presence of Christ brings innocence, joy, and merry life. He also said that Christ’s Cleansing of the Temple was an example which showed that by purifying ourselves, we earn his infinite blessings. Prior to the liturgical services, the ceremony of the Andastan or the blessing of the four corners of the world took place to celebrate the reopening of the renovated church.
