On Sunday, May 14, Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, attended the Divine Liturgy at Holy Cross Church in Troy, New York, where he presided over the installation of Rev. Fr. Vahan Kouyoumdjian, as Visiting Pastor of Holy Cross Church. Rev. Fr. Vahan celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon.
The Prelate praised Fr. Vahan for his priestly virtues, saying that as a pastor, brother, and guide for the community he would contribute to boosting its cultural and social life. He also commended Archpriest Fr. Gomidas Baghsarian for his selfless dedication and wished him an enjoyable retirement.
