The Prelacy’s Orphan Sponsorship program, established in 1993, remains the centerpiece of the Prelacy’s mission in Armenia and Artsakh. We are pleased to share some of the letters that children regularly address to their sponsors.

Dear Sponsor,
This is Vahe, born in the city of Hadrout in Artsakh. I am 12 years old. During the ill-fated war our family – my sisters, mother, and I – relocated to Armenia and we are currently living in Yerevan. I got promoted to 7th grade and my sisters are university students.
Before the war, we lived in our beloved Hadrout. We owned a house there with a garden. I miss my homeland – my magnificent Hadrout – a lot, and I hope that a day will come when we will return there.
